We are seeking a skilled and driven Electronic Security Technician/Trades Assistant to join our commercial security systems installation and service call team.

(www.scgroup.global) a national provider of security and facilities management solutions. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electronics Security Service Technician to join our team.

Our Clientele:

Southern Cross Electronic Security (www.southerncrosssecurity.com.au) provides security solutions to commercial sites, strata properties, small to medium enterprises and local government facilities.

We do not provide services in the standalone residential market.

About You:

Proven Background: Established experience as an Electronic Security Installation Technician.- or Trades Assistant.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electronic security systems and components.
Troubleshooting Proficiency: Skilled in diagnosing and fixing security system issues.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical approach.
Independence: Capability to work effectively without supervision.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Electronic Security Installation Technician is required.

Essential experience with:

1. Installing cabling and conduit to a high standard.
2. CCTV systems
3. Access control
4. Alarm systems
5. intercom systems (2-Wire and IP)

A current security licence is required for this position.
