Electrical Technician - Fixed Cranes

The Electrical Crane Technician will report directly to the Technical Services Supervisor, playing a crucial role in the warehouse workshop and onsite functions of the business. 

This role requires a team player with exceptional planning and organisational skills, capable of working autonomously and in a team. The ideal candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively across different levels and demonstrate a high level of commitment and enthusiasm

Task & responsibilities

• Comply with the requirements of the companies Quality Management System, studying drawings to determine manufacturing tolerances of various lifting equipment
• Erect equipment on site, including height safety systems and gantry cranes
• Conduct inspections and test of mechanical and electrical systems, including overhead cranes, recording and analysing results

Qualification & experience

• Electrical qualifications preferred.
• 2-3 years of working experience with crane and other electrical systems.
• Excellent communication, time management, and computer skills.
• High standard of work ethic and verbal skills.
• Current Driver's Licence and High Risk licenses preferred 
• Working at Heights, Whitecard
