As a result of continuous national growth, LAI Group is seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our team at our head office/manufacturing plant in Epping within our Switchboard department. We would like team members who are excited about the opportunity to build a stable, rewarding, and lucrative career with us.

Schedule

• Full-time / Casual

• A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).

• Wage (Negotiable - Experience, knowledge, and ability will be taken into consideration)

The Position

Assembling, installing, wiring, testing, and maintaining electrical switchboards and control panels used in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading electrical drawings

• Wiring and connecting electrical circuits

• Testing switchboards for safety and correct operation

• Troubleshooting faults and replacing damaged components

• Ensuring work complies with electrical standards and safety regulations

The Candidate

• Electrical Trade Qualifications

• Current CPR and LV Rescue certificate

• The ability to work well within a team-based environment

• Knowledge of electrical standards

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Commitment to safe work practices

Desired Competencies

• Good attention to detail

• Problem solving skills

• Experience with using general hand tools
