About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for an Electrical Engineer to join our esteemed clients team based in Perth. This position is based on a Monday to Friday full-time roster.
Duties and responsibilities
Develop and deliver electrical engineering designs and technical solutions
Prepare high-quality technical documentation (e.g. cable sizing, datasheets, schedules)
Compile and maintain electrical equipment lists and design registers
Ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications, and safety requirements
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering deliverables
Review, check, and validate technical outputs for accuracy and completeness
Provide engineering support throughout design and project execution phases
Skills and experience required
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering
Strong background in materials handling or mining environments
Experience preparing technical documents such as cable sizing, datasheets, and schedules
Ability to develop and manage electrical equipment lists
High attention to detail with strong communication and teamwork skills
