We're seeking a passionate and experienced Educator & Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Pimpama, on a full-time basis. You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.


What you'll do
Lead Educator

  • Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
  • Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
  • Support children's development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences

Educator

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through play-based experiences.
  • Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development.
  • Assist with implementing educational programs and daily routines.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support children's individual needs and promote inclusion.
  • Follow centre policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.


What you'll bring

  • A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
  • Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) or working towards
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
  • Current Working with Children Check for QLD.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style
