The Sunny Child, located at the Defence base in Swanbourne, WA, provides high-quality early learning to children aged 0–5 in a supportive, community-driven environment. With a strong connection to Defence families, our service is committed to inclusion, child-led learning, and strong team collaboration.
We’re looking for an experienced Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. This is a Full-time Monday to Friday position working 38 hours per week.

Salary: $40.07 - $55.45 per hour + additional allowances and superannuation

About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality programs guided by the EYLF and NQF
• Create meaningful, play-based learning experiences based on children's interests
• Observe, assess, and document learning progress
• Build secure, nurturing relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with a passionate, supportive team
• Embrace flexibility and a commitment to reflective practice

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification)
• Current and valid WA Working with Children check clearance
• Current WA Teacher’s Registration
• Clear National Police clearance (less than 6 months old)
• Up-to-date First Aid, CPR and Child Protection Certificate
• Previous employment experience as an Early Childhood Teacher
