SuniTAFE is seeking a supportive and skilled Early Years Mentor, Support Trainer and Assessor to join our Early Childhood Education team in Mildura Campus. In this role, you will provide targeted mentoring, learning support and workplace assessment assistance to students undertaking Certificate III and Diploma qualifications.

Reporting to the Education Delivery Manager – Early Years, this role will act as a key link between students, educators and services, ensuring expectations are clear and achievable. The role includes regular visits to early childhood workplaces to observe practice, support supervisors and sign off competencies. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one mentoring and tailored support to students.
• Work alongside Early Years teachers in online sessions to support participation and learner engagement
• Deliver timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.
• Identify and implement practical solutions to support diverse learner needs and minimise withdrawals
• Regularly conduct workplace visits to observe student practice and assess on-the-job competencies
• Collaborate with employers and supervisors to ensure assessment requirements are understood and met
• Support safe, timely and appropriate completion of assessments, including simulated tasks where required
• Develop and maintain individual learning or training plans
• Maintain compliance with RTO standards, quality assurance processes, OH&S, and child safety requirements

• A valid Working with Children Check - employee.
• Criminal Record check (less than 6 months old)
