Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)

As an ECT, you will lead the educational program for children aged 0-5 years, support their developmental milestones, and build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development
• Establish and maintain positive and respectful relationships with children and their families
• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
• Collaborate effectively with other educators and team members
• Support the centre’s compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and regulatory requirements
• Actively participate in professional development and reflective practices

Requirements

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma certifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS
• Experience in a similar role is desirable but new graduates are welcome to apply
