About the role
Play and Potential is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our early childhood education family in Old Toongabbie, NSW. There are full-time and part-time roles, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping the educational program and practice at our nurturing childcare centre.
What you'll be doing
Providing educational leadership, mentoring and support to the teaching team
Developing, implementing and evaluating the centre's educational program to ensure it aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework
Maintaining an engaging, play-based learning environment that fosters children's holistic development
Collaborating with families to understand children's interests, strengths and needs
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards
Contributing to the ongoing improvement and quality assurance of the service
What we're looking for
A Master or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualifications
Eligibility for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in NSW
Experiences in an educational leader or senior educator role is preferred
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide a team of early childhood educators
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for delivering high-quality, play-based learning experiences
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice
Applicants must hold legal Australian work rights including citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
