Early Childhood Teacher

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. This role will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Kindergarten program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard.

Task & responsibilities

• Lead and deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate Kindergarten program
• Build and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with children, families, and team members
• Create a calm, inspiring, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning
• Maintain accurate and meaningful documentation of children’s learning and progress
• Support the implementation of the service’s philosophy, goals, and quality improvement plans
• Mentor and guide colleagues, contributing to a positive and professional team culture
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, frameworks, and policies

Qualification & experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Up-to-date Child Protection training
• A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement
