Task & responsibilities
- Lead and deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate Kindergarten program
- Build and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with children, families, and team members
- Create a calm, inspiring, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning
- Maintain accurate and meaningful documentation of children’s learning and progress
- Support the implementation of the service’s philosophy, goals, and quality improvement plans
- Mentor and guide colleagues, contributing to a positive and professional team culture
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, frameworks, and policies
Qualification & experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:
- A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Up-to-date Child Protection training
- A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to continuous improvement
