About the role

Join Perth's leading driving school, DRIVE - Perth's Driving School, as an instructor. This full/part-time position is based in Perth and surrounding areas and involves providing high-quality driver training and education to learner drivers in the local area. As a Driving Instructor, you will be crucial in equipping students with the skills and knowledge to become safe, responsible drivers.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting structured driving lessons with learner drivers, focusing on all aspects of driving theory and practical skills

• Providing clear, patient and encouraging instruction to help students gain confidence behind the wheel

• Monitoring student progress and providing constructive feedback to support their development

• Maintaining records of student progress

• Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations and best practices for driving instruction

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of the driving school's training program

What we're looking for

• A current and valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to teach and motivate students of all ages and abilities

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to operate a tablet/laptop (to assist in delivering lesson briefs in the car) and to use online booking software

• A friendly, patient, calm and professional demeanour

• A commitment to road safety and delivering the highest standard of driver education

• Must have, or able to qualify for a Working with Children Card and a Police Clearance Check
