We are seeking dedicated, reliable, and child-safe Disability Support Workers with experience supporting children and young people with complex physical, intellectual, and mental health needs. Our approach is grounded in trauma-informed practice, strong child safety principles, and a deep respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of every young person.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe, person-centred care in a therapeutic home
Support young people in daily life, learning, and personal growth
Follow individual plans to build independence, confidence, and life skills
Create a stable, nurturing environment where young people feel safe
Build genuine, trusting relationships through consistency and empathy
Be a positive role model and set clear, supportive boundaries
Encourage community connection and social inclusion
Use a calm, trauma-informed approach to support behaviours
Work collaboratively and keep clear, accurate records
Show up as a reliable, steady presence young people can depend on

Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support, Youth Work, or a related field or willing to enrol
Working with Children Blue Card for paid work
NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
Unrestricted driver’s license (Minimum P2 license)
LCS2 (or willing to apply)
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
