Task & responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to clients with disabilities, both in-home andcommunity settings
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Encourage clients to participate in social, recreational, and community activities
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Monitor and report on the physical and emotional well-being of clients
- Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all clients
Qualification & experience
Qualification, experience and skills requirements
- Minimum Certificate III in Disability Services or in a relevant field, or higher.
- Maintaining all Industry and organizational related mandatory clearances and trainingrequirements.
- At lest have 12 months or 24 months work experience in similar field.
- Ongoing commitment to accurate record keeping confidentiality, duty of care.
- Effective written communication skills.
- Genuine interest in the wellbeing and inclusion of people with disability.
- Effective verbal communication skills and demonstrated flexibility in methods ofcommunication, particularly active listening.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use initiative appropriately.
- Demonstrated capacity to collaborate as a part of a diverse team and workautonomously.
