The Opportunity

Infinity Supports WA Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide essential in-home and community-based support to individuals living with disabilities, empowering them to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

You will assist participants in achieving their goals in alignment with their NDIS plans. This includes (but is not limited to) social and community participation, in-home care, personal care, and household tasks. Additional duties may be assigned by Service Delivery Coordinators. All work must comply with organisational policies and procedures and align with the NDIS Practice Standards.

You will play a vital role in delivering personalised care and promoting overall wellbeing, dignity, and social inclusion.

Task & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily living assistance and personal care (e.g. hygiene, grooming, dressing)
  • Support clients with mobility and safe transfers
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding where required
  • Assist with medication reminders and support routines
  • Carry out light household duties (e.g. cleaning, laundry, vacuuming)
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Accompany clients to shopping trips, appointments, and community outings
  • Facilitate participation in recreational and social activities
  • Monitor client wellbeing and promptly report any concerns to supervisors


Qualification & experience

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Disability Support Worker or similar caregiving role
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of NDIS standards and person-centred care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • High level of empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
  • Reliable transport and a valid Australian driver’s license (preferred)
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Mandatory Requirements

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Current driver’s license and fully insured, reliable vehicle
  • Legal right to work in Australia
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose)
  • Completion of:
    • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
    • NDIS Worker Induction Module
  • Manual Handling and Medication Assistance training (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Local applicants from Rockingham, Mandurah, and the wider Peel region preferred
