Task & responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care and daily living assistance, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, dressing and mobility support.
• Support clients to participate in community activities , social outings, and recreational programs.
• Assist with medication prompts and health-related routines in line with care plans.
• Help maintain safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
• Encourage independence, choice, and dignity, empowering clients to achieve personal goals.
• Offer companionship and emotional support, promoting wellbeing and social inclusion.
• Document care activities and maintain accurate recordd and reports as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures and infection control standards.
• Uphold confidentiality, privacy, and safeguarding principals at all times.

Qualification & experience

• Australian work rights
• Certificate III (or equivalent) in Aged, disability or community care
• Current Working with children Check
• Current manual handling Certificate
• Current National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid certificate (Recommended)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of full time 12 months' or equivalent relevant experience
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
