We are seeking a Digital Engineering Coordinator for our Canberra projects, working on the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre and other key projects across the region. This role sits at the centre of how digital design and construction come together on site, helping ensure project information is accurate, connected, and accessible to the project team. You will support the delivery of infrastructure projects by coordinating digital models and data to help the team build efficiently and with confidence.
Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre
The Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre (LMWQCC) Upgrade is a major wastewater infrastructure project in Canberra, ACT, being delivered for Icon Water under its Major Projects Delivery Program. The project is being undertaken through a joint venture between Seymour Whyte and VINCI Construction Grands Projets, alongside design partner Beca HunterH2O, bringing together expertise in large-scale water and civil infrastructure delivery.
The project involves upgrading and expanding the existing wastewater treatment facility to improve treatment efficiency, increase plant capacity, and support Canberra’s growing population. Key works include the construction of a new membrane bioreactor capable of treating up to 97 megalitres of wastewater per day, along with upgrades to critical treatment systems across the plant. Sustainability is also a key focus, with initiatives including renewable energy use, recycled water during construction, and the reuse of on-site materials where possible.

About Seymour Whyte:
We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. With the agility and personal connection of a Tier 2, yet the expertise of a Tier 1, and the enhanced resources of one of the largest, world-class construction companies, VINCI, our employees and clients get the best of three worlds.
As a progressive, leading civil engineering firm built on the strong foundations of our unique history, we engage, enable and empower our people to be better. With you, we are altogether stronger, in building the future we want.
Many of our projects are not accessible via public transport and require travel between and within active construction sites. As a result, a current Driver’s Licence and the ability to drive on site are essential.
Seymour Whyte is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we encourage applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds, including veterans.
Our commitment to an equitable construction industry extends to an inclusive culture that embraces our differences and gives everyone the opportunity to grow and be equally valued. We're unified in our direction toward having a workplace that is balanced and fair for all.
