The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our maintenance crew supporting a large fleet of heavy mining equipment on site. Working within a supportive and safety-focused team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability and minimising downtime across operations.
This role offers a mix of planned maintenance, breakdown support, diagnostics, and component replacements on a range of mining machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair heavy mobile mining equipment
• Complete component change-outs and machine overhauls
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical systems
• Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
• Respond to breakdowns and provide efficient troubleshooting support
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and to site standards
• Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and operations teams
• Support continuous improvement and workshop efficiency initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
• Experience working on mining or heavy earthmoving equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or the ability to obtain
