We are Mansys Pty Ltd, recruitment consultants. Our client, Bepoz Global, based out of Melbourne (VIC) is actively looking for an experienced Developer Programmer (Lead Engineer) to join its team on a full-time basis. The business is Australia’s leading supplier and developer of point of sale (POS) systems. They are renowned for supplying products that are customised to meet the demands of running a bar, restaurant, cafe, hotel or club. In addition to POS system, Bepoz offers fully integrated Digital Signage, CCTV, Paging solutions, Takeaway Order Apps & Self-Ordering fully customized to business.

Main Responsibilities of the role are-

• Drive complex projects autonomously, from technical design to launch.
• Tackle complex architecture challenges, apply architectural standards and use them on projects.
• Designing, implementing, testing and deploying various software products
• Contributing to the overall technical solution design
• Managing and maintaining existing systems in line with our product custodianship strategy
• Participating in engineering practices that produce testable, maintainable products
• Knowledge sharing & mentoring other developers within the team on-shore and off-shore
• Perform code reviews & documentation as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems.
• Set the standard for thorough, meaningful code reviews.
• Work in collaboration with team members and adhere to timelines and milestones

Must Have –

• Bachelor of Technology/IT
• Must have at least 3 years of Australian experience in POS software
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in software development
• Must have experience in AWS, CI/CD, infra as code tooling
• Expert Knowledge of HTML/ CSS and JavaScript
• Expertise in Analytics (Cube JS or similar), NO SQL (or similar)

Skills Needed –

• Experience with test automation at all levels of the test pyramid and beyond, and experience working in a Continuous Deployment model.
• Bring knowledge of design patterns in development (e.g. SOLID) and platform architecture (Microservices, Event Driven, DDD)
• Complex problem solving and thinking out of box

Successful candidate will be on an annual salary of $ 100,000 to 110,000 Plus Superannuation.
