Task & responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and customer specifications
• Select, clean, and prepare metal stock for fabrication
• Cut, shape, and bend metal sections and pipes using hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines
• Align and assemble components accurately using measuring instruments
• Perform welding, bolting, and riveting to join metal parts
• Inspect welds for precision, penetration, and quality standards
• Finish welded products by cleaning, polishing, filing, or applying protective treatments
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Measure, mark, and cut steel materials (flat bar, RHS, pipe, sheet)
• Weld components (MIG/TIG/Stick) to assemble gates and fence panels
• Drill and punch holes for hinges, locks, and fittings
• Grind, polish, and finish welds for neat presentation and safety
• Apply protective coatings (primer, paint)

Qualification & experience

• Diploma in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) (preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years’ welding/fabrication experience
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Team player with a proactive attitude
