Position Overview:

As a Software & Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that support the company’s business operations and client requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver tailored software solutions.

This is a full-time role based in Griffith, NSW, offering a competitive salary of $85,000 – $95,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom software applications, web platforms, and mobile solutions.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using industry best practices.

Develop APIs and integrations with third-party platforms and systems.

Test, debug, and troubleshoot applications to ensure functionality and performance.

Upgrade, optimize, and maintain existing software and applications.

Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with relevant standards.

Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and development practices.

Provide ongoing technical support and training to users as required

Skills & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

Minimum 3 years’ experience in software development/programming roles.

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, PHP, or JavaScript.

Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js) and/or mobile development (Android/iOS).

Familiarity with databases (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) and database design principles.

Experience developing and consuming APIs (REST, SOAP).

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in software development.
• Previous exposure to IT services or retail technology solutions.
• Working knowledge of Java applications, Android (kotlin, Java), JavaScript, C, C++, SQLite etc will be added advantage
