Senior SOE Engineer

• 12 Month Contract + 2 X 12 Month Extension Options

Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage a Senior SOE Engineer that has strong expereince with Microsoft Desktop & Server Standard Operation Environments. This is a dynamic and fast paced area of our Technology Services group.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining and supporting the Agency and partner agencies Microsoft Infrastructure;
• Providing broad technical support for project build, test, and solution deployment activities. products;
• Performing technical operations for ICT solutions, maintain technical system information in service tools and prepare a range of technical and corporate documentation;
• Supporting the development of plans for backups and disaster recovery and execute those plans when necessary;
• Performing problem management and root cause analysis;
• Escalating issues that adversely impacts on policy, performance and/or service;
• Collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure effective and timely implementation of business solutions.

Technical skills:

• Candidates will have a minimum of 5 years experience working as a Microsoft Windows Desktop & Server Engineering Expert, with strong technical skills and experience including but not limited to the following:
• Windows Server and Desktop Standard Operating Environment;
• M365; Active Directory; AppLocker; Configuration Management;
• SCCM / MECM and Group Policy;
• Azure and Azure Active Directory;
• Intune technologies.
