Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services are looking for an Occupational Therapist- Senior to join their team. The Yugaipa Ward, Redlands Hospital is a 23 bed inpatient mental health ward and the Logan Adult Inpatient Mental Health Unit is a 64 bed Unit facility which falls within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services (MSAMHS). The Multidisciplinary team aims to provide high quality, safe, patient focused specialised mental health and drug and alcohol care to patients who are usually over the age of 18 years, and who present with severe mental illness or are at risk of developing severe mental illness. About The Role Develop and maintain strategic links with community based organisations to ensure appropriate and effective clinical handover and discharge planning processes are maintained.Ensure patients and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
