Senior Communications Advisor

Our client URGENTLY requires a Senior Communications Advisor for a 36 months + Contract in Brisbane.
    
As Senior Communications Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the public image and community engagement strategy for a significant transport infrastructure project. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication plans, overseeing stakeholder engagement initiatives, and maintaining a positive relationship between the project and the public. Your expertise will guide the strategic direction of communications and ensure effective dissemination of information to various audiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and executive a strategic communications plan to support the infrastructure project’s objective and milestones.
• Prepare briefing materials, speeches, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders. Monitor and analyse media coverage, public opinion, and industry trends to inform communication strategies.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a communications and community engagement role, preferably within infrastructure, construction, or government sectors.
• International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certification, or a willingness to obtain certification independently.

Government experience would be advantageous !
