Sales & Marketing Manager

West End Collection has recently ventured into marketing and sales of customised natural and lab grown diamond and gold jewellery.  To promote marketing and sales for this product line, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager who has extensive knowledge of diamond jewellery sales including experience in, and knowledge of manufacturing, development and creation of designs and preparing cost estimates for custom jewellery orders. 

The successful candidate will lead a team of sales representatives and report to the Director of West End Collection.

Responsibilities:

• Advise on pricing of custom diamond jewellery designs and the viability of such designs regarding the manufacturing aspects.
• Direct the development and implementation of diamond jewellery sales strategies and set sales targets in order to maximise West End Collection’s sales and maintain esteemed customer loyalty.
• Direct the development and implementation of strategies to promote West End Collection’s products and services to as many people and retail jewellery outlets as possible, particularly regarding our custom designed diamond jewellery sales.
• Direct the development and implementation of strategies to generate increased consumption of diamond jewellery related services and products through the creation and reinforcement of 'brand image' and 'brand loyalty' at West End Collection.
• Direct the development and implementation of strategies to build and maintain West End Collection’s image and reputation with its customers, investors and the wider public.
• Plan, organise, control, and coordinate the sales and marketing activities within West End Collection.

Education:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Commerce or Business. At least 5 years of highly relevant work experience may be accepted in case of no formal qualifications.

Work Experience:

At least 5 years of relevant work experience within the Jewellery industry in both manufacturing and sales.

• Ability to solve problem and make decisions effectively.
• Ability to delegate tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment where tight deadlines are to be met.
• Ability to train sales representatives with focus on customer service and customer expectations related to diamond jewellery.
