Task & responsibilities

• Dispensing Medicines

Accurately and efficiently dispense medications, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Medicine Counselling

Provide counselling to customers, offering clear and reliable advice on medication usage, possible side effects, and potential drug interactions.

• Professional Services

Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support a wide range of professional services, including dose administration aids, staged supply, health promotion, screening and risk assessment, disease state management, smoking cessation programs, and medication adherence support.

• Stock Management

Maintain dispensary stock through inventory management, stock rotation, and monitoring of expiry dates.

• Customer Service

Build strong relationships with customers by delivering professional, friendly, and responsive service that addresses their needs and concerns effectively.

Qualification & experience

• Completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy
• AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
• At least one year of work experience for the role
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medication management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software
• Solid understanding of pharmacy regulations, and ethical standards 
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills in patient care
