Retail Manager

As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations,including driving sales performance, increasing profitability, minimizing waste, managing inventory and merchandising, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Task & responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize profitability including maintaining and improving store budget.
• Monitor inventory levels, merchandise displays, and store presentation to ensure a visually appealing and well-maintained environment.
• Minimise wastage and improve profitability.
• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Train and mentor staff members to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer engagement abilities. 
• Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WH&S) policy, food safety and operational procedures (including manual handling, ergonomics, and cash handling).
• Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for business improvement and optimization.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.
• Attention to detail, proven experience in problem solving and working in fast paced environment.

Qualification & experience

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, with a proven track record of success
• A minimum of a relevant Diploma level qualification. A degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in retail management, with a proven track record of success in driving sales and achieving targets.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.
• Solid understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service best practices.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Basic computer skills are essential.
