Clean Whistle Pty Ltd is a boutique dry-cleaning and laundry services business (“Clean as a Whistle Dry Cleaners”) operating in the personal and laundry services sector in Sydney, NSW. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality garment care with meticulous attention to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Clean Whistle is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Retail Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day shop performance, team leadership, and contribute to the growth and profitability of the business.

Task & responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop retail staff to ensure high service standards, consistent performance, and strong teamwork
• Manage opening/closing, rostering, and daily operations to meet sales and productivity targets
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and ensure efficient store workflows
• Deliver excellent customer experience: manage counter service, handle complaints, resolve issues promptly
• Monitor financials: sales tracking, budgeting, and reporting to ownership/management
• Uphold store visual standards, cleanliness, safety & compliance

Qualification & experience

• Diploma level qualification in retail management, business, or a related field OR at least 2 years of retail management experience in customer-facing environment
• Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to inspire and motivate staff
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Solid numeric acumen: able to read and act on sales and financial reports
• Organised, proactive, able to multitask and manage time effectively
