About the role

We currently have an exciting development opportunity for a motivated individuals to fill the role of Receptionist within our Kalgoorlie Aboriginal Short Stay Accommodation. We have 1 Full time contract and 3 part time contracts available.

The rosters available are as follows:

Roster 1:

Week 1: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 8am – 4pm

Week 2: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 8am – 4pm

Roster 2:

Week 1: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3pm – 8pm

Week 2: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3pm – 8pm

Roster 3:

Week 1: Sat, 8am – 3pm, Sun 2pm – 8pm

Week 2: Sat, 2pm – 8pm, Sun 8am – 3pm

Roster 4:

Week 1: Sat, 2pm – 8pm, Sun 8am-3pm

Week 2: Sat 8am- 3pm, Sun 2pm – 8pm

Reporting to and supporting the Service Manager the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing a high level of customer care to service users of our Kalgoorlie Short Stay Facility. You will provide administrative support in the form of overseeing purchase orders, managing invoicing and front office receipting of payments, administration of all accommodation reservations, reporting of facility maintenance and faults and reporting any security issues through the appropriate channels.

About you

The successful applicant will be well organised with an aptitude for working with people from a variety of backgrounds adhering strongly to the values of compassion, respect and integrity. You thrive in a collaborative, busy team environment and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office at an intermediate level. You will have a track record of being solutions-focused, with a knack for problem-solving. In addition, exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, and a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail are essential attributes for this role.

Additionally, to be successful in the role you will have the following:

  • Experience working in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of Accreditation Quality Standards is desirable.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of your own safety and that of others in the workplace.
  • National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid Certificate
