As a Qualified Carpenter with Layout Developers Pty Ltd you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of custom designed homes. Your main responsibilities will include reading and interpreting plans, measuring and cutting timber, building and installing wooden structures and fixtures, and performing repairs. You'll also use a variety of hand and power tools, ensure accuracy with levels and surveying equipment, and communicate effectively with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Task & responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans accurately.
- Measure and cut timber to specifications.
- Construct wooden structures including walls, floors, roofs, and doors.
- Install fixtures such as cabinets, stairs, and other carpentry-related items.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on existing wooden structures.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure precision using levels and surveying equipment.

Qualification & experience
- Carpentry Certificate: Demonstrated proficiency and formal training in carpentry.
- Work Experience: At least one year of full-time work experience as a qualified carpenter.
- White Card: Valid construction induction card, ensuring knowledge of safety protocols on-site (Preferred).
- Driver's Licence: Valid Australian driver's licence for transportation to various job sites as needed (Preferred).
