Our Client in Epping requires the services of an experienced Plumber.
Position Overview:
The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water, drainage, gas, and sewage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The role ensures all plumbing work complies with relevant building codes and safety regulations.

Task & responsibilities
- Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems, gas lines and appliances (where licensed), and sanitary fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
- Assemble and install piping systems and support structures.
- Detect faults in plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Test pipe systems and fixtures using air or water pressure gauges.
- Work in compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers where necessary.
- Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
- Supervise apprentices or junior tradespeople as required.
Qualification & experience
- Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in the plumbing trade (post-apprenticeship).
- Must be licensed or registered with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA)
- Experience working in [residential/commercial/industrial] settings preferred.
- Gas fitting license (desirable, depending on job scope).
- Understanding of building plans and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
