Reporting to the National Supply Planning Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate supply of Tip Top products to the right place at the right time to meet customer demand. This is achieved by balancing available capacity with current and future demands, which includes supporting NPD projects. By providing optimised operations capacity planning, supporting business processes and supporting system enablement you will collaboratively help ensure profitable and sustainable growth.
Purpose of the Role
Long-term capacity planning to balance projected growth, new product development and available capacity.
Central communication and coordination for Supply Issues
Coordinate weekly National supply meeting and Monthly Regional S&OP Meetings
Communicate weekly DIF results to wider business.
Work with Master Data Coordinator to ensure quality of Planning Master data as it relates to Production Optimisation
Supply network optimisation (modelling supply network variables, sensitivities, and scenarios)
Finished goods inventory planning.
Monitoring and highlight slowing moving and obsolete inventories, and execute strategies to mitigate the risks
Co-ordinate seasonal planning activities with regional operations and national marketing, sales, and customer service
Represent operations in cross functional project teams.
Be the link between operations, marketing, and sales and translate operational issues succinctly to sales and marketing in a timely manner.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Min 3 years+ of relevant supply chain planning experience within FMCG food manufacturing will be highly regarded
Deep understanding of supply chain discipline and function within FMCG
SAP experience desirable
Proficient knowledge of Excel
Strong written & verbal communication skills to be able to influence and engage with stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally
