Due to business expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Motor Mechanic to join our busy Service Department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance and servicing to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems.
  • Specialize in areas such as brakes, suspension, ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, air conditioning regas & repairs, and installation of 4x4 accessories.
  • Utilize modern diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical and electronic problems.
  • Provide expert advice on vehicle inspection and maintenance needs for various vehicle types.
  • Maintain detailed records of all services, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay up-to-date with new automotive technologies and techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum Certificate III in Automotive or equivalent/successor qualification.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic.
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of vehicles, including everyday cars, performance vehicles, and 4x4s.
  • GWM or LDV experience preferred but not essential.
  • Current manual driver’s licence.
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanics.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Proven track record of quality work and accurate diagnostic skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, with strong communication skills, excellent work ethic, and initiative.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
