Task & responsibilities

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•    Diagnosing a variety of automotive makes and models

•    Staying updated on industry trends and integrating new techniques to enhance service quality and efficiency

•    Running diagnostic tests and inspecting vehicles to identify issues

•    Using specialized tools and equipment for accurate fault diagnosis

•    Repairing, replacing, or dismantling defective parts or equipment and reassembling mechanical components

•    Performing various mechanical repairs, including routine services, brake and clutch repairs, timing belt work, and more

•    Changing engine and transmission oils

•    Completing quality checks before vehicle handovers

•    Conducting roadworthy tests

•    Using computer systems for diagnostics and testing

•    Following safety protocols, reporting hazards, and maintaining workshop cleanliness

•    Interacting with customers to explain services, provide estimates, and address inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.

Qualification & experience

•    Diploma of Automotive Technology in the automotive field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.

•    Strong work ethics

•    Effective time management skills

•    Excellent technical understanding of vehicle systems

•    A professional approach in the workshop at all times

•    Ability to perform diagnostics, fault identification, repair, and maintenance.
