Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and tune-ups, to keep vehicles running smoothly and meeting emission standards
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using both traditional methods and modern computer-based testing equipment
• Remove and dismantle engines, transmissions, steering systems, and related components for detailed inspection
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts, then reassemble engines and systems in line with manufacturer specifications and service manuals
• Test, adjust, and fine-tune repaired systems to ensure safety, reliability, and optimum performance
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and, if accredited, issue roadworthy certificates or provide advice on required repairs
• Respond to urgent vehicle breakdowns and provide roadside mechanical assistance when needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 4 years’ proven experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic, with strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
• Completion of at least a Diploma in Automotive Technology (or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of safety standards and industry best practices in automotive repair and servicing
• Excellent technical skills, including the ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and workshop equipment with precision and care
• Strong communication and customer service skills, ensuring professionalism and quality in every interaction
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, with a strong sense of responsibility and pride in workmanship
