The Role
As the Maintenance Electrician, you will be a key part of a large maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for:
- Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and production machinery
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Working closely with production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Assisting with process improvements and automation projects
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and compliance standards
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Electrical Licence (A-Grade)
- Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment (preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of PLCs and automation systems (highly regarded)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with stakeholders
- A commitment to safety and adherence to workplace procedures
