An exciting opportunity now exists for a newly created Level 1 IT Support Technician to join the Corporate head office team due to business growth and expansion. Working in an A-grade internal team of 4 IT professionals, this role will be based in the brand-new ‘Industry Lanes’ mixed-use development on Church Street (Richmond. Working closely with the Network/Systems Engineers, the Support Technician will be responsible for Level 1 system tickets and IT support across the Jellis Craig network of 1200+ staff and 40 Victorian offices.

In addition, this role includes broader IT tasks, including Microsoft 365/Entra management, hardware/software maintenance, problem solving and researching the latest hardware and software.
Here’s a snapshot of the responsibilities that the Support Technician will own:
Work as part of the helpdesk team and provide first point of call for support, training and on-going troubleshooting assistance to all employees for all company systems
Perform onsite service calls at Franchise Offices when required
Maintain and update the corporate Website, E-Marketing Platform and Reporting system
Troubleshoot network, hardware & software problems including:
Desktop Computers
Client tablet, and mobile devices
Printers
CRM Platform
VOIP & Phone Systems
Firewalls
Server Infrastructure
Manage Microsoft 365 and Entra Directory
Monitor/Administer Corporate Intranet
After hours maintenance may be required
Keep IT knowledge base up to date and relevant
Create and maintain network user accounts, passwords, permissions and licensing
Manage SentinelOne and Proofpoint Security Platforms
Assisting the IT Engineers in the following areas:
Design, implement and monitor external and internal Networks and VPNs
Design, implement and monitor firewall policies
Maintaining Software & Hardware
Configuring all end user devices in line with Company Policy
IT Strategy (Corporate and Franchise levels)
Manage the Jellis Craig Domain
Cloud Infrastructure
Active Directory
Microsoft 365 and Entra
Network growth design and implementation
Virtual Machine and SAN management
Website/ E-Marketing / Reporting system management, design and maintenance
Research into current and future IT trends
Print Solutions

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Passion for Technology
Great problem-solving skills
Prior working knowledge of Microsoft Stack (Windows OS, Office suite, 365)
A demonstrated ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously, prioritise and show initiative.
A valid Victorian Car Driver’s License
