Leading Hand Drainer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand Drainer to join our team at Pipeline Contracting Pty Ltd in Perth, Western Australia. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team in undertaking installation works of sewer storm water, storm water drainage, water and gas common trench works across new subdivisions in the Northern suburbs.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and coordinate the work of a team of pipelayers to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery

• Assist with sewer storm water and common trench works.

• Reading and interpreting site plans

• Maintain detailed job records and provide progress updates to the management team

• Mentor and train junior pipelayers to develop their skills and expertise

• Adhere to site safety regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3yrs experience pipelaying and subdivision works

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks effectively

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Working knowledge of regulations, and safety protocols

• A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
