The HR Advisor provides frontline HR support and advice to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. Support the HR Manager in delivering core human resources functions across the business. This includes recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems administration, employee relations, training coordination, and compliance.

Policies and Processes
- Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legislation and best practices.
- Maintain induction materials and support onboarding processes.
- Develop, plan, and implement workplace relations policies and programs.
- Study and interpret legislation, awards, collective agreements, and employment contracts.
HR Advice
- Provide first-level HR advice to Managers and employees on performance, conduct, and general HR queries.
- Escalate complex matters to the HR Manager as required.
- Provide advice and information to management on workplace relations policies, staff performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Undertake negotiations on terms and conditions of employment and resolve disputes and grievances.

Qualification & experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Degree qualified in Human Resources or related discipline
- Experience in the security industry or similar operational environments is highly regarded.
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Australian workplace legislation and employee relations practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
