The Mornington Hotel, located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, is seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to assist with managing all operational departments within the hotel.
The venue offers 4-star accommodation, multiple function spaces, two retail bottle shops, sports bar, and bistro. The Duty Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing smooth operations across departments, maintaining service standards, managing staff, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee reservations, reception, hospitality services, and related activities.
- Supervise security arrangements and property maintenance.
- Plan and supervise bar, restaurant, function, and conference activities.
- Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming, and other regulatory requirements.
- Monitor customer satisfaction to enhance service standards.
- Oversee accounting and purchasing activities.
- Ensure compliance with OHS regulations.
- Provide tourism information and arrange tours/transportation for guests.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 years of previous management experience in a similar hospitality environment.
- Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality or a related discipline.
- Strong F&B background with proven results.
- Hands-on management style.
- Friendly, self-motivated personality with excellent people skills.
- Passion for hospitality and ability to foster a positive, proactive working environment.
