What We’re Looking For:

As Head of Aquatics, you will be responsible for the overall performance, quality, and commercial success of the swim school and aquatic programming at Rackley Swimming Miami. You will also take ownership of the customer experience across the venue and lead the performance of other key revenue lines, ensuring the entire aquatics operation delivers an exceptional experience for all users.

Swim School Leadership

  • Lead the strategy and delivery of our Learn to Swim program from infants through to squads
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality teaching that aligns with our philosophy and national standards
  • Monitor student progression and implement changes to drive results and engagement
  • Maintain a culture of excellence and consistency in the water
  • Lead the planning and delivery of programs such as holiday activities, school swimming sessions, and university student program

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and develop a passionate team of swim instructors and aquatic staff
  • Coach and mentor team members to deliver their best and develop in their careers
  • Foster high performance, accountability, and engagement across the team
  • Drive a positive team culture built on our truths, recognition and trust

Customer Experience & Commercial Oversight

  • Champion a customer-first approach across all touchpoints of the aquatics experience
  • Ensure a seamless and positive journey for swimmers, parents, and casual users
  • Lead the delivery of smaller aquatic programs and junior activities including Birthday Parties & Holiday Programs
  • Analyse feedback and customer data to improve satisfaction and retention

Operations & Business Growth

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, compliance, rostering and safety
  • Collaborate with marketing to drive acquisition, retention and local awareness
  • Maintain oversight of program occupancy, staffing ratios and cost efficiency
  • Build strong school and community partnerships to grow enrolments

About You

You’re a proven leader in the aquatics space who brings strategic thinking, financial acumen, and a deep passion for delivering life-changing swimming experiences. You’re confident leading teams, scaling programs, and driving both quality and commercial outcomes.

You have:

  • Proven experience managing large swim schools and aquatic programs
  • Strong people leadership – able to coach, motivate and retain high-performing teams
  • A customer-obsessed mindset, with a track record of enhancing the end-to-end experience
  • Commercial acumen – understanding of budgets, KPIs, labour management and program growth
  • The ability to juggle operational excellence with strategic planning
  • Current industry qualifications
