Full-Time Hairdresser – MOON HAIR & BEAUTY

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Hairdresser to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a salon environment and hold a Certificate III in Hairdressing or a relevant qualification. You will be confident in delivering a wide range of hair services while ensuring clients receive expert advice and outstanding customer service.

Task & responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on hair care, beauty products, and styling options.
• Wash, shampoo, and condition hair, ensuring scalp care and treatment.
• Perform colouring, straightening, and perming using chemical solutions.
• Cut and trim hair using scissors, clippers, and razors with precision.
• Style hair into various designs including braids, dreadlocks, and extensions.
• Clean and sanitise tools, equipment, and work areas to meet hygiene standards.
• Shave, groom, and maintain beards and moustaches.
• Manage client bookings, arrange appointments, and process payments.
• Provide services for wigs and hairpieces, including cutting, colouring, and styling.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure repeat client satisfaction.

Qualification & experience

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of salon experience.
• Strong technical skills across cutting, colouring, and styling.
• A passion for customer service and client satisfaction.
