We are seeking a Full-Time Electronic Equipment Trades Worker who is skilled, motivated, and has a positive attitude to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional with formal qualifications in Electronics and Communication and at least 2 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic equipment.

• Diagnosing faults in electronic devices and equipment
• Repairing and replacing defective components
• Assembling, installing, and configuring electronic systems.
• Advising on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
• Providing accurate cost estimates and managing risks
• Identifying the occupational health and safety and workplace procedures required to complete tasks safely.
• Identifying the occupational health and safety and workplace procedures required to complete tasks safely.
• Investigating and testing electronic devices and equipment to diagnose faults.
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective electronic components, and maintaining machines, equipment, and devices.
• Assembling, installing, testing operation, and adjusting electronic equipment and systems.
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
• Configuring, programming, and setting up electronic device interface, equipment, and system.
• Studying plans, diagrams, schematics, and manual to determine appropriate job requirements.
• Costing work and providing accurate quotes to customers on work to be performed.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements
Relevant Certificate in Electronics and Communication
Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering preferred
Experience Requirement:
Must have At least 2 years of experience in highly relevant role
● Ability to perform quality calibrations and repairs.
● Confident to repair high end phones and equipment.
● Strong troubleshooting skills in complex electronic instruments and control systems
● Good understanding of computing systems and business software.
● Passion for your trade
● Working under pressure.
● Working effectively with team members.
● Complying with Australian standards, legislation, and regulations that apply to Electronic Equipment Trades Workers.
● Using and understanding the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) needed to undertake all tasks and duties.
● Ordering materials and supplies and checking orders received for quantity and quality.
