Estimator

TEN Recruitment is working with a well-established WA home builder to recruit an Estimator for residential construction. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced estimator to take ownership and shape the position while working in a supportive and collaborative team. You’ll be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates for single-storey home builds, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in pricing and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for single-storey home projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Analyse plans and specifications to determine material and labour costs.
• Assist with pricing variations and ensuring budgets align with project scope.
• Work closely with the construction and design teams to optimise cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate databases and documentation for reporting and analysis.

What You’ll Need:

• Experience as an Estimator in the residential construction industry.
• Strong understanding of materials, labour costs, and construction processes.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities to liaise with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Perth-based experience with full Australian work rights.
