Environmental Engineer

JOB TITLE or POSITION: Environmental Engineer.

QUALIFICATION: Must hold at least a master’s degree equivalent to the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) in relevant field.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  We are looking for an enthusiastic person with the right skill set and experience to join our team.

• Conducting a comprehensive company-wide energy audit to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for improved energy performance, resulting in enhanced sustainability and reduced operational costs.
• Comprehensive understanding of energy requirements related to structures, as well as expertise in local climate variables and solar technology principles. Skilled in thermodynamics and knowledgeable about metering and auditing standards to assess and enhance energy system performance.
• Leading renewable systems design for clients in Australia, ensuring compliance with Clean Energy Council regulations and Australian Electrical and Design Standards.
• Conducting comprehensive life cycle analyses to identify opportunities for optimizing operations and improving maintenance processes, ultimately enhancing system performance and sustainability.
• Assessing initiatives focused on reducing energy consumption, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and adherence to required procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with project teams and regulatory bodies to mitigate environmental impacts and promote sustainability throughout renewable energy projects.
• Addressing and resolving environmental hazards by developing and implementing corrective measures, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Interpreting engineering sketches, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements.
• Monitoring ongoing projects to maintain continued environmental compliance and best practices, ensuring long-term sustainability and adherence to regulations.
• Providing expert technical guidance to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint across solar and heat exchange installations, delivering tailored environmental management solutions.

SALARY: A$70,000 – A$80,000 annual base pay + superannuation.
