Entry Level Grate Fabricator / Labourer

Hours: 6:30am - 2:36pm Monday - Friday

Paige Stainless Fabrications is seeking a dedicated Entry Level Grate Fabricator / Labourer to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role supporting and assisting the Grate Fabricators and Apprentice Fabricators. You will be performing general labouring and housekeeping duties as required by direct supervisors throughout the workshop.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting fabricators with job preparation; including cleaning, measuring, cutting, de-burring, polishing, and labeling of materials.

• Operate basic hand and power tools (grinders, drills, saws, hammers, etc.) safely and effectively (training provided).

• Load, unload, and move materials through the workshop as required by supervisors.

• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.

• A keen interest in manufacturing and fabrication, with a willingness to learn new skills

• Be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.

• Possess a basic understanding of WH&S requirements.

• Good communication skills.

• Show a willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Exhibit strong attention to detail.

• Be reliable and punctual to work and returning from work breaks.
