Operate Remote Draft Survey automation systems

Integrate machine vision sensors, GPS, and RF communication networks for real-time monitoring.

Establish and maintain network communication between server platforms and subsystem applications.

Manage and maintain electrical and electronic equipment for operational efficiency and minimal downtime.

Contribute to software and hardware integration to reduce turnaround time and improve cost efficiency.

Deploy and operate commercial-grade UAVs (DJI Phantom 4, Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 3 Enterprise, Matrice 300/350 RTK) for aerial inspections and data acquisition.

Perform pre-flight risk assessments, equipment readiness checks, and regulatory compliance.

Capture and process high-resolution imagery, 3D models, and LiDAR scans using platforms like Matterport and photogrammetry software.

Develop and execute automated drone flying operations using software-integrated API platforms.

Task & responsibilities

Provide technical consultation and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored drone solutions.

Ensure CASA regulatory compliance and manage approvals for operations in restricted airspace.

Lead and oversee "Drone-in-a-Box" automation projects across environmental, security, and agricultural sectors.

Train and mentor staff in drone operations, safety procedures, and system integration tasks.

Troubleshoot and maintain UAV systems, supporting the smooth integration of drone-collected data into broader project systems


Qualification & experience

Qualification in Telecommunications, Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related Engineering discipline.

Proven experience in telecommunications systems, automation technologies, and/or UAV operations.

Hands-on experience with GIS data collection, photogrammetry, or drone-based surveying is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of networking, control systems, and mechanical/electronic integration.

Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and project milestones.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation.

Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work independently when required.

High level of motivation, safety awareness, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
