Overview of the Position
Moët Hennessy Australia & New Zealand has an exciting 12 month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced Customer Activation Manager for State Key Accounts On-Premise to join our Customer Marketing team in Sydney. This position directly reports to the Head of Customer Marketing. Primary responsibility will involve crafting and implementing the customer activation strategy and calendar, focusing on executing branded activations across the entire MH portfolio. This role specifically targets our State On-Trade groups, aiming to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome for MHA, our valued customers, and consumers.
This position holds immense importance within the organisation, serving as a linchpin between various departments. You will collaborate extensively with Brand teams, Sales, Operations, and manage relationships with customers at both headquarters and venue levels. Your objective is to invigorate pivotal brand platforms and drive engaging activations within your specified group of accounts.
Job Responsibilities
Development of key platforms tailored for priority brands, emphasising brand-specific programs that drive brand visibility, consumer engagement and conversion. Collaborating with brands to identify their primary platform and crafting creative concepts that account managers can implement effectively in the marketFormulate and refine the activation strategy tailored to State On-Premise Customers, encompassing the entire MH portfolio. Collaborate with the Sales team, actively contributing to the Joint-Business planning process, and ensuring alignment with customers on action plans. Collaborate with the sales team to execute best in class on premise activations aligned with the activation strategy and KPIs. Aid brand teams in shaping and enhancing the commercial relevance of key platform programs. These initiatives aim to attain widespread outreach in the channel, generating substantial value for the business. Manage and oversee all Point-of-Sale Materials (POSM) initiatives for on premise programs, collaborating with brand teams and key stakeholders across multiple brands. Focus on delivering best in class quality and effectivenessCoordinate with brand teams to acquire POSM and creative assets essential for activation campaigns and other customer marketing requisites. Oversee customer relationships with key stakeholders such as Marketing Managers, F&B Managers, Procurement Managers, Head of Beverages, etc., ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals. Deliver comprehensive analysis and regular reports on Customer activation initiatives and brand activation programs. These reports will serve to assist in managing Return on Investment (ROI) effectively, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. Oversee and manage budgets allocated for activation campaigns, ensuring meticulous tracking of performance metrics. Regular updates on performance tracking will be provided to the Sales team and relevant Customer stakeholders. Manage third party agencies to deliver excellent execution and represent the brand in accordance with global brand guidelines & luxury positioning. Ensure customers guidelines have been incorporated and approved as required.

Possession of a university degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent field. Proficiency in both written and spoken English. 4 years of sales and marketing proficiency in the premium liquor industry. Established a track record of successfully executing activations within On-Premise environments. Possess a deep understanding of liquor, and preferably wine, along with a comprehensive knowledge of the Australian wine and spirits industry, which offers a notable edge. Proficiency in planning, implementing, presenting, and negotiating. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies and approaches in response to changing market trends, customer needs, and internal dynamics. Problem-solving: Capacity to identify issues, analyse situations, and implement effective solutions promptly and efficiently. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly, engage with diverse audiences, and articulate complex concepts succinctly. Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners, fostering trust and collaboration.
