Job Tasks and Responsibilities -

Prepare and cook Mexican dishes consistently, following established recipes and standards

Menu development and seasonal offerings

Ensure all food is presented to a high standard and served hot and fresh

Follow kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness protocols at all times

Assist with daily food prep and maintain efficiency during busy service periods

Work closely with kitchen staff to support smooth and timely service

Monitor inventory, check and rotate stock to reduce waste and ensure freshness

Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed

Keep work area clean, organised, and ready for service

Stay calm under pressure and be a reliable, positive part of the team

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma of Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)

At least 2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Passion for Mexican cuisine and creative presentation

Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen operations

Excellent communication and time management skills

Ability to multitask and maintain quality during restaurant service
