Responsibilities: 

General light and power installs and upgrades. 

Breakdown and reactive maintenance. 

Preventative maintenance testing and compliance audits. 

Electrical fault finding, with trouble shooting on equipment such as control wiring and commercial electrical systems. 

Participate in safety, quality, and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with Power Up’s ISO-certified Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies. 

Communicate directly with clients and site staff. 

Forecasting works including material, labour and site specific requirements. 

About You 

Minimum of 3 years of post-trade experience in the electrical industry. 

Experience with commercial service work including fault finding and testing. 

Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality standards. s. 

Experience working to deadlines. 

Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and WHS regulations. 

Problem solving mind set. 

Ability to work on call roster

Willingness to be work night shift when required (attractively renumerated)

Qualifications 

Current QLD Electrical Worker's Licence. 

Open Cabling Licence with endorsements (Desired). 

Current CPR/LVR certification. 

Current Construction Industry White Card. 

Current QLD Open C Class Driver Licence. 

Level 1 thermographer (advantageous)
