What You'll Be Doing The Clinical Nurse Educator supports novice graduate nurses in WSLHD through education, mentorship, and skill development across clinical settings on a rotating 7-day roster. Your responsibilities will also include: Leading clinical teaching for Gradstart nursesActing as preceptor and supports new staffDelivering orientation and in-service trainingProviding daily clinical education on-siteCollaborating on policy and professional growth How To Apply Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date. Essential Criteria Qualification: Hold relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employerRegistration: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Selection Criteria Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.Demonstrated participation in delivery/implementation of quality/education project.Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and how they apply to education and training.Demonstrated experience in mentoring/precepting clinical staff.Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement whilst ensuring currency of practice in the relevant specialty.Demonstrated ability and commitment to developing collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to provide best practice service delivery.Demonstrated experience in computer skills and relevant technology platformsClass C drivers license and willingness to travel across facilities.
